Let The Egg (Money) Hunt Begin!

Although egg hunts are reserved for 

small children who are seeking candy...

 ...bigger kids will hunt for eggs that are filled with money!

Wait! Who let the dog out?

Lucy would not be left out!

Parker hadn't found his quota. 

We all helped him look for the last egg.

It's gotta be here somewhere.

I've looked everywhere.

 Of course, as soon as all the money was found, the next best

activity is kickin' around the soccer ball...

Or buttin' it with your head.

David and I watched from the sidelines with the dogs.

The Life of a Cat

I've always wondered what happens in our house with our animals when we are away. We usually find out when we get home that the dog has obviously gone through the garbage as we find the evidence hidden behind the couch, and that the cat has been on the hunt and has dragged little stuffed animals downstairs from the bedrooms into the living room in full view so everyone can praise her abilities to find things that have purposely been hidden.

Well, we got smart and while we were gone four days during spring break, we took the dog to play with other doggies at the doggie boarding kennel, and we locked our cat downstairs with plenty of toys to keep her occupied but with all the doors closed so things couldn't be drug around the house during her pure uninterrupted freedom.  

NOW, THIS IS HER NEW SLEEPING PLACE...

Move over clock.

"What?  It's nice and warm on the cable box."
