We had a wonderful time in the mountains on Saturday with grandma and grandpa. We took our fishing poles and lunch and spent the whole day in the sun!

• Caden found a rope swing and found out how cold the lake was when he gave the swing a try and jumped in the lake a couple of times. It took him two hours to warm up. Later at the mill pond in Horseshoe Bend, Caden was the only one to catch any fish.
  

• Parker found ALL the bugs and didn't want to sit down anywhere! The mountain ants were larger than life and he didn't like them. He did enjoy holding the fishing pole and reeling it in.

• Kailey was ready to go home as soon as she stepped out of the car and found out that's it's cold in the mountains at 8:30 am. She liked the beach at Mill Pond the best.

Parker's Dancing Debut

Who would have thought Parker would have taken such a liking to dancing with girls?? That wasn't the obstacle he had to overcome, however. It was being on stage in front of people that made him a little nervous. But once he made it through dress rehearsal, he conquered his fears like a pro considering he had only practiced for four days before his performance. Thank you Caleb and Maitre for being such great friends to Parker!!
