On the Edge

Well, I've finally finished the rough, rough draft of my third novel and as I sit and let it simmer, waiting for my proof readers to give me their feedback, I'm reading other novels and wondering if mine will ever compare. There are so many good writers out there - I have so much to learn. There is simply not enough hours in a lifetime to perfect all the hobbies I'd love to pursue.

Currently, I have three new story ideas running through my head and the more I think of them, the less energy I feel in starting another novel. Mostly because I want to write a BEST SELLER that will launch me into demand, but knowing the work it will take to get there makes me tired just thinking about it. Until then, I'll work on fine tuning this third manuscript into something an agent might grab out of the slush pile that is full of other "could be" best sellers.

Synopsis of ON THE EDGE: Coming Soon
An inspirational romance that will leave you appreciating the fragile nature of love.

Jake Reynolds is a hot-headed, independent-minded teenager, whose only goal in life is to get out on his own and race cars for a living. Amanda is a smart, well-grounded, tenderhearted young woman whose focus has always been on getting good grades and preparing for her future as a nurse. She wasn't looking for a hero and Jake wasn't trying to impress anyone, but that all changed in one night! Being together has given each of them a new outlook on life and the courage to go against the obstacles keeping them apart. Just when the impossible seemed possible, they are slapped with an unimaginable reality and forced to fulfill their dreams for the future with unresolved feelings from the past.

Skinny Taste

Erica turned me on to this website for good recipes and I must say, this woman has done some amazing things to make vegetables look inviting!  I scrolled through a few pages and found myself thinking, "She may make me actually want to cook!"  This would be an amazing feat because I'm a 30-min meal kind of girl.
If I can't whip it up and be eating in 20-30 minutes, I'll be ordering out.

Look at how delicious this Chicken Bruschetta looks. It's even gluten-free.
