Let It Snow!

Christmas vacation was celebrated with snow! EVERY time the snow falls, Thad and the kids grab the sleds and head for grandma's pasture to slide in the snow behind the truck. So far no broken bones, but many of great wipe outs. Here are a few samples of the fun we had, and of course mom is the one taking the pictures and dad is driving so you just get to see the kids! We hope your Christmas break was just as fun as ours.

The Spirit of Temple Square

Lights hung at Christmas
Illuminate the night
Their twinkle reminds us
Of the star that shone bright.
We walked through the square
In awe of the reverenceFor the birth of our Savior
And the gift of his presence.

The Land of Imagination

In the land of imagination where children become Kings and Queens, where sticks and rocks become swords and weapons, and where trees and leaves become kingdoms and shelter, there are many adventures to keep little ones occupied.

Rubber horses and boards on ropes become modes of transportation through the kingdom of imagination.

You never know what kind of expressions or poses you'll get when you are armed with a camera unknowingly in the kingdom. Hidden inside the warmth behind the window, I am able to capture many moments not soon forgotten.
We hear that we should enjoy the journey? Well, this is what our journey was made of on this unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend with Erica and Jefferson!! Enjoy.
